Noah's flood may have taken place at the Aral Sea 3598 BC. If the flood did not spill into the Caspian Sea, then perhaps the Mount Ararat in the Bible was a raised portion of the Aral Sea Basin that served as a resting point for the ark when the waters receded. The name of mountain may have been named after the Aral Sea and be similarily pronounce Ararat.
Genesis 7:6 "And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth."
Perhaps refers to the 600th year of the Sothis period starting July 16, 4197 BC Julian, then the 600th year began 3598 BC. The Egyptians simply had 365 days in their year. Then their calendar backed up one day every four years. Then in 1460 years the calendar had backed up to July 16 and the first appearing of Sirius before dawn. Thus the Sothis calendar was exactly 365.25 days in a year tied to Sirius. Our tropical Gregorian calendar has 365.2422 days, almost the same. This meant the Sothis 365.25 day calendar fell back one day every 128 years from the tropical calendar that is tied to the equinoxes. Thus the vernal equinox was on April 23, 3598 BC in the Julian calendar but fell back to March 22 by the time of Christ.
The sun may have risen in the west and set in the east Saturday, March 23, 3598 BC or the day of the flood March 30, 3598 BC: "During this time of grace, the laws of nature were suspended, the sun rose in the west and set in the east." Then earth would flow into a reverse orbit of the sun.
Since then we use the Gregorian calendar where the vernanl equinox is kept at March 22 by not adding an extra day February 29 every year divisible by 4 at certain times such as at the turn of the century, except milleniums - the year 2000.
Sirius first appeared before dawn July 16, 4197 BC marking the beginning of the Sothis cycle and 1460 years later when their calendar had backed up full circle Sirius first appeared before dawn again at July 16, 2737 BC. Noah built by revelation from God. Yet the tools and means would have existed at this relatively recent date. Also the seven day week was passed on to us from that time without interruption because they entered the ark on the seventh day, March 30, 3598 BC, a Saturday, also the seventh day of the week and the 17th day of the lunar month counting from the Hebrew first visibility of the moon. - see Julian Date Converter.
Genesis 1:5b "And the evening and the morning were the first day."
That second lunar month beginning at sunset on March 14, 3598 BC. The day was counted from sunset as was the lunar month. Then the 17th day was March 30, 3598 BC. The 430th year of the Sojourn into Egypt began April 1, 2307 BC. Joseph became governor over Egypt on Pharaoh's birth day, April 1, 2316 BC. The new year had backed up 600/4 days, 150 days, to Sunday February 17, also the beginning of the eighth month, IV Peret. J.H. Breasted, 1900, gave the date 4236 BC (July 16) as the beginning of the first Sothis peroid. I have found the next sothis period began 2737 BC. Therefore the first sothis period must have begun 4197 BC. Sirius rose exactly at 4 AM July 16, 4197 BC and at exactly 4 AM July 16, 2737 BC because Sirius was not adversly affected by the precession of the stars of 1.4° clockwise every 100 years. At the same time the Julian/Sothis calendar equinox backed up one day every 128 years. These worked together to make Sirius always first appear July 16. The July 16 date also marked the beginning of the Nile flood and Sirius appearing before dawn was a sign to flee to higher ground.
Genesis 7:24 "And the waters prevailed upon the earth a hundred and fifty days."
8:1 "And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged;
2 The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;
3 And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.
4 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat."
Jesus may have been born on the 17th day of the seventh month, September 13, 7 BC. The sun may have moved to the other side of the earth that day. Then Arcturus would be directly above Bethlehem at midnight. Then the sun may have moved back September 15, 5 BC. Jesus was almost two years old when the wise men found him days or weeks before Arcturus rising directly above Bethlehem at midnight. Thus the blood red moon that night was both a lunar eclipse as recorded by Josephus and a red moon reflecting the red sun as it moved 180° back creating also a long night. This blood red moon marked the death of a high priest and other priests Herod killed the day before just after Yom Kippur.
The 150th day is like a sothis date for year 600 from July 16. That is, the new year had backed up 150 days to February 16 from July 16 in the 600th year. 600/4 is 150 days. Jesus may have been born in the seventh month, Sunday, September 12, 7 BC on the 17th day of the lunar month. Then 150 days from the flood Saturday March 28, 3598 BC is the seventeenth day of the seventh month, August 28, 3598 BC. Thus, the ark rested on the low mountains on the Caspian Sea beside Mount Ararat on the 17th day of the seventh lunar month, August 28, 3598 BC.
The lunar month that was July 16 and the appearing of Sirius was the 12th month. (A 13th month was added if the appearing of Sirius, July 16, happened in the last 11 days of the lunar month.) Then the lunar month beginning February 16, 3598 BC was both the eighth month since July 16 and the first month since the 600th new year February 17 - 150 days back from July 16.
Genesis 7:10 "And it came to pass on the seventh day that the waters were on the face of the earth.
7:11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened."
Genesis 7:13 "In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark."
Genesis 7:17a "And the flood was forty days upon the earth:"
Genesis 7:24 "And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days."
The Sothis calendar had backed up 150 days from July 16 to the new year February 17 and the lunar calendar to the new moon February 16, 3598 BC. The new year February 17 was also the beginning of the eighth 30 day month from July 16. The year began with the first appearing of Sirius before dawn July 16 then the five left over days then the twelve 30 day months.
Genesis 8:3 "And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.
4 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
5 And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen."
The first day of the tenth month and first day of the week was December 8, 3598 BC.
Genesis 8:6 "And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made:
8:7 And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.
8:8 Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground;"
Saturday, January 18, 3597 BC was the end of the forty days from the first of the 10th month.
Genesis 8:10 "And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;
Gen 8:11 And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.
Seven more days was January 25, 3597 BC.
Genesis 8:12 "And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more."
Seven more days was February 1, 3597 BC.
Genesis 8:13 "And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry."
The first day of the first month and first day of the week was February 2, 3597 BC.
Gen 8:14 "And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried."
The 27th day of the second month was Sunday, March 29, 3597 BC when Noah left the ark. This was exactly one year after Saturday March 28, 3598 BC when Noah entered the ark.
If the last year of Jesus' ministry is compared to the flood. Then the 27th day of the second month, Sunday, March 29, 3597 BC may be like the resurrection Sunday April 5, 33 AD.
Up until the building of the Aswan Dam, March was the season of the low Nile, hardly a time for rain. Also, records up until that time showed the time the Nile began to flood corresponded to the July 16 date. The Armenian's Sothis date was July 26. It appears the dates from Noah on were reconciled to the Egyptian calendar with its sothis date July 16.
The flood Saturday, March 30, 3598 BC was the 40th day of the year from the beginning of the year February 17.
Genesis 5:21 "And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:
22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him."
The flood rose 150 days then abated 150 days = 300 days, like the year 300 when Noah was born, then the 65 days till Noah stepped out of the ark onto dry land. Noah walked with God as did Enoch. Also, the Sothis year February 17 began 300 days after the flood. Perhaps the years of Enoch point to the Sothis 365 day calendar. Perhaps these dates of the flood point to Enoch:
Jude 1:14 "And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him."
Noah's father Lamech may have died just five years before the flood in sothis year 595:
Genesis 5:30 "And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters."
Joshua 24:2 "And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods."
The other side of the flood may be the east side of the river Euphrates.
Genesis 11:2 "And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there."
Habakkuk 3:8 "Was the LORD displeased against the rivers? was thine anger against the rivers? was thy wrath against the sea, that thou didst ride upon thine horses and thy chariots of salvation?
9 Thy bow was made quite naked, according to the oaths of the tribes, even thy word. Selah. Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers.
10 The mountains saw thee, and they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice, and lifted up his hands on high.
11 The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went, and at the shining of thy glittering spear."
Genesis 9:13 "I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth."
Habakkuk is possibly describing the giving of the ten commandments (Judges 5:4,5), 2317 years after Noah's flood, the mount flowing from the thunder showers that day, the rainbow promising a new covenant leading up to Joshua's long day in the 11th verse. The rainbow Noah saw was also the promise of a new covenant. For the rainbow to be visible for more than a few minutes the sun must move to stand still in position above the horizon. Perhaps the sun moved 180° back Sunday March 29, 3597 BC one year after the flood to make a lasting rainbow and long sunset, perhaps symbolic of a lasting covenant, the everlasting new covenant of the New Testament.
The sun must be at the 5 PM position near the horizon to cause a rainbow. Thus the few minutes a rainbow lasts.
Of course there were rainbows before 3600 BC on earth. But we do not know where this region was that Noah escaped from in the Ark. Perhaps it had not rained there for a long time.
Ezekiel 1:28 "As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake."
Revelation 4:3 "And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald."
The bow was associated with rain. However, God sent rain clouds when he appeared to hide his glory when the bow of his glory appeared. Rainbows naturally occur. God's glory does not naturally occur and the bow of his glory is his bow.
Genesis 9:12 "And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:
15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.
17 And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth."
The 150th day of the flood was month seven day 17, August 28, 3598 BC. Then 37 more days and it is 187 days since the flood March 30, 3598 BC. The sun must have moved to the other side of the earth March 30, 3598 BC - the sun rise in the west and set in the east. The sun then 180° on the other side of earth, earth would flow into a reverse orbit of the sun. Then one year later on the day, March 29, 3597 BC the sun must move 180° back and earth flow out of the reverse orbit of the sun. Then a sun miracle that day and there could be a long sunset and a long rainbow. These movements would create short and long days, yet no net missing time and no biological or geological trace.
"In his 26th year, an azure rainbow was seen in Tsin."
The Chinese Classics III, The Annals of the Bamboo Books, p.66.
This was in 493 BC and the emperor was King King who reigned from 518 BC to 474 BC. There was an eclipse recorded in about 493 BC during Darius' reign in Persia. This was King Darius' 20th year when Ptolemy reported there was a lunar eclipse. This could rather be a sun miracle that year and the green bow from the glory of God. There was a rainbow with a dragon head at either end depicted on an oracle bone on day 47 when the sun was setting, from Emperor Wuding's reign, 1400 BC - 1340 BC. 1361 BC was Moses' birth.
February 16, 1281 BC during Exodus is interesting in that it is also the beginning of the eighth lunar Egyptian month. It may be day 52 of cycle 60 of China when inscribed on an oracle bone: "three flames ate the sun". That is, the sun did not rise for the three days of darkness in Egypt. This was the new moon before the month of Aviv and the new moon of the passover March 16, 1281 BC. Noah's flood was in year 600 meaning the year had backed up one day for every four years from July 16 to this February 16. The new moon February 16, 3598 began this Sothis year and this lunar year.
Also this February 16, 1281 BC the year of the Exodus is 150 days back from the appearing of Sirius July 17.
The first wine was made in northern Iran 5400 BC and made in Jordan found in Egyptian king Scorpion's tomb 3125 BC. Thus wine may have been discovered about the time of the first Armenian Sothis cycle 5818 BC. Adam lived 800 years after, perhaps after the beginning of the Sothis cycle. Thus Adam may have been born in year 800 Sothis, 5000 BC.
Genesis 9:20 "And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:"
About 3590 BC. I do not drink, never have and do not recommend it.
See 1 Chronicles 1:4, Isaiah 54:9, Matthew 24:37-38, Luke 3:36, 17:26-27, Hebrews 11:7, 1 Peter 3:20-21, 2 Peter 2:5, 3:5-6.
The first horse to be domesticated was from the region of the flood in Pontus, the Caspian and Aral Seas. This was from one horse about 3,500 BC. Thus this one horse could have boarded Noah's Ark. The horse was considered an unclean animal because it did not divide the hoof. Then only two horses boarded the ark and from these two horses and their offspring we have a lineage going back to this 3597 BC. Thus we have domesticated horses today. Where would civilization be today without the horse?
There were devout men from Pontus on Pentecost when the Holy Ghost was given and every man heard the wondrous works of God in the language they were born.
You can see a complete chronology of the Bible with Noah's flood:
5000 BC Adam born year 800 Sothis, 800 years to new Egyptian sothis cycle. 4197 BC New Sothis cycle 3900 BC Enoch Sothis year 300 from 4197 BC 3717 BC 120 years before the flood. 3697 BC Sothis year 500. Noah was in year 500, perhaps when God spoke to him to build the ark. Just after this Noah begat Shem. 3602 BC in Sothis year 595 perhaps when Lamech died. Lamech also died in year 777. Armenian Sothis cycle began 4378 BC - 777 = 3602 BC. This was 3,595 years before the birth of Christ in 7 BC. Thus the after years of Lamech 595 may be the 3,595 years later to Jesus' birth. 3598 BC was Noah's flood in Sothis year 600 from 4197 BC. 3595 BC Arphaxad born. 2767 BC Peleg born. 2737 BC Rue born at the end of the Sothis cycle. 2677 BC Terah born. 2607 BC Abraham born. 2532 BC Terah died in sothis year 205 2431 BC Abraham left Haren then at 75 2507 BC Isaac born. 2439 BC Jacob born when Isaac was 69 not 60 2347 BC Joseph born. 2307 BC The sojourn into Egypt for 40 generations. 1361 BC Moses born 1281 BC The Exodus 1241 BC Joshua's long day 1191 BC was the first jubile. 1124 BC Saul became king. 1084 BC David became king. 1044 BC Solomon became king. 1041 BC The Temple was begun 240 years after the Exodus. 1033 BC The Temple was finished 717 BC Ahaz died, Hezekiah became king. 704 BC Sennercherib's army destroyed by metereorites. 703 BC Hezekiah's sign 688 BC Hezekiah died, stars fell like rain. 591 BC Jerusalem was taken. 521 BC The Temple foundation was laid in the jubile. 504 BC The Temple was finished. 471 BC was the next jubile. 168 BC the Greeks took the Temple. 164 BC the Temple was rededicated and there was a sun miracle. 7 BC Jesus was born. 33 AD Jesus was crucified and resurrected. There may be 144 generations from Adam to Jesus. Luke adds 24 generations to Matthew. There must be 40 generations from Joseph to Joshua not 4. Thus if there were 27 generations more from Noah to Abraham there would be 144 generations from Adam to Jesus.
